The XPLORE Entertainment and Educational center is located on the 1st floor of the Golden Hall Shopping Center (37A Kifisias Avenue, Maroussi 151 23) and it is connected via footbridge with the Athens Olympic Sports Center ''Spiros Louis''.

A. Access By car

·         From the center of Athens (city center):

Heading north on Kifisias Avenue, turn right at the exit towards the Olympic Stadium, follow Spyrou Louis Avenue, turn right at the first underground intersection onto Pittara Street and drive towards the Golden Hall parking area (entrance A).

·         From Kifisia (northern suburbs):

Heading south on Kifisias Avenue, turn right at the exit towards the Olympic Stadium, follow Spyrou Louis Avenue, turn right at the first underground intersection onto Pittara Street and drive towards the Golden Hall parking area (entrance A).

·         From Attiki Odos (to Elefsina):

Take the 11th Exit – (Kifisias Avenue), turn right onto Artemidos Street, then left onto Pittara Street and drive towards the Golden Hall parking area (entrance A).

·         From Attiki Odos (to Markopoulo / Airport):

Take the 10th Exit – (Kymis Avenue), turn left onto Neratziotissis Street and then onto Artemidos Street; finally turn right onto Pittara Street and drive towards the Golden Hall parking lot (entrance A).

·         From Kymis / Veikou Avenue:

Follow Kymis Avenue, turn right onto Neratziotissis Street, right onto Artemidos Street, and take another right turn onto Pittara Street and drive towards the Golden Hall parking lot (entrance A).

*** Parking Entrance A leads you directly to the grey parking sector of Golden Hall’s parking area, where you can have direct access to XPLORE level (1st floor) via elevators.

On Sundays you can access XPLORE either from the first underground intersection onto Pittara Street or from the pedestrian bridge from OAKA (Olympic Athletic Center of Athens ''Spiros Louis'').

XPLORE is a thematic entertainment and educational destination, ideal for all children from 5 to 12 years old, while the aquarium XPLORE oceans is addressed to all ages.

All XPLORE thematic zones offer a unique experience for all family members and differ in terms of activities, as follows:

• XPLORE Science Zone:
A specially designed area where children and parents can learn basic scientific principles, through multiple experiential activities. They learn how the parts of the human body function, how energy is produced and converted from movement to light, the main properties of water, air, electrical circuits and understand concepts of mechanics.

• XPLORE Adventure Zone:
Here, children learn the concept of teamwork and boost their imagination through interactive exhibits and activations. They can build their own virtual city, wander in the magic castle full of mirrors, become superheroes and participate in kart races! These and many more adventures are waiting for you in XPLORE Adventure!

• XPLORE Oceans is the only aquarium in Athens that will impress everyone!
The XPLORE Oceans aquarium, hosts representative species of the marine life in 20 tanks. More than 2,000 fish of 140 different species, such as sharks, rays, seahorses, and king crabs, await you to admire them up close.The XPLORE Oceans aquarium is for visitors of all ages and is designed with the aim of informing and educating its visitors about the beauty and importance of the oceans, through a unique experiential tour.

In the XPLORE Science thematic zone, our qualified staff assists children and parents (or adult companions) with the instructions for use of the exhibits and offers them additional information about the scientific significance and educational value of each exhibit.

Additionally, in the XPLORE Science zone, tablets with extra educational input and fun facts are available to parents (or adult companions).

During school visits, our staff guides students through each zone (Science, Adventure, Oceans aquarium) and offers them a detailed educational tour.

Please be aware when visiting XPLORE, children should always be accompanied by their legal guardian or accompanied by an adult authorized by their legal guardian. The adult is responsible for the supervision of accompanied child/children and should comply with the Rules and Regulations of XPLORE.

Children aged 5 years old and upwards can enjoy the kart driving experience at the XPLORE racetrack, without being accompanied by an adult. Younger children (under 5 years old) should be accompanied by an adult.

XPLORE Café, is ideal to relax and enjoy your coffee and beverages, as well as taste delicious snacks and deserts during your visit!  Please be aware that children should be accompanied in all areas of XPLORE.
